Configuring Settings

After you have installed and activated Suppbot, you can access the Suppbot menu through the WordPress backend.

Below, you will find an overview of the individual configuration settings of the plugin:

Connection

Url

Here, you enter the URL for the OpenAI API interface. In the case of a new installation of Suppbot, this should already be pre-filled.
https://api.openai.com/v1/chat/completions

API-KEY

Here, you enter your OpenAI Key. You can find instructions on how to obtain this key by referring to the documentation provided: How to get an Open AI License Key

License

License Key

Here, you enter the License Key for Suppbot PRO. You can find this key in your order confirmation or in your Suppbot account under Downloads & Licenses.

Settings

Model

Select your Chat-GPT model here. If you require more input and output, you can switch to the 16k variant, or if you are using GPT-4, you can also switch to the 32k variant. Please note the token prices for the different models.->  https://openai.com/pricing .

Temperature

Temperature in the context of GPT models like ChatGPT refers to a parameter that controls the randomness of generated text. Higher temperature makes text more creative and less predictable, while lower temperature makes it more conservative and predictable.

Max Tokens

Max tokens is a parameter in ChatGPT that limits the length of the generated response to a specific number of tokens (words or characters). It helps control the length of the output to ensure it doesnt become too long or exceed a certain limit.

Frequency Penalty

Frequency penalty is a parameter in ChatGPT that discourages the model from repeating the same words or phrases excessively in its generated text. It helps to promote diversity and variety in the generated responses by penalizing overly repetitive language

Presence Penalty

Presence penalty is a parameter in ChatGPT that encourages the model to avoid using certain words or phrases in its generated text. It can be used to make the model produce responses that avoid specific topics or words that the user wants to minimize in the conversation

Answer language style

Defines the output language style. Here, you can choose from various language styles, such as diplomatic, humorous, sarcastic, factual, and many more.

Save entries (nur  PRO)

Define whether all inquiries (and responses) should be saved. If this setting is active, a new menu item “Suppbot Entries” will appear in the admin area.

Bot Image

Here you can decide whether to enable or disable the bot image, including the animation.

Show Title

Here you can decide whether to show or hide the title.

Show Description

Here you can decide whether to show or hide the introductory paragraph (or description).

Show Bot Introduction

Here you can decide whether the bot should introduce itself with its name and the company it works for.

Token Prices:

This setting is used to verify the OpenAI costs that have already been incurred. You can view the incurred costs in the admin area of the plugin (and, of course, in your OpenAI account).
